I just discovered this brand and ordered 4 pairs of shoes after asking chat gpt to research an ethical, non toxic, feet respecting, aesthetics honoring brand available in Europe. I love all 4 pairs, all were perfect fit, well made, high quality, fairly priced, prompt delivery, consciously made to honor both the business, the buyer and the planet. Wonderful to see more of such brands being born and I hope these grow in popularity as people start to have higher standards for themselves.

I had high hopes for the Be Lenka Core Sneaker as I have wide feet. I measured my feet carefully and the size chart said EU45 was perfect in length and width but in reality it wasn't. They look good but they are so uncomfortable. They didn't fit if I wear my usual socks but if I wear thinner socks, I get blisters. The upper is made of stiff leather and when I walk and bend the foot, it presses and rubs the top of my foot causing blisters there too. I can wear them only if the laces are at their loosest, which mean my feet slide inside the shoe. Lastly the sole is dangerous in the rain. I slipped on a wet manhole cover, imagine someone slipping on a banana skin in old comedy movies. It was so bad I thought I'd broken my arm when I landed on it.
